I just landed in Munich and am about to board my flight for Cyprus. I slept for about half of the 9.5 hour flight. I paid extra for a reserved seat, so I ended up with my own row and could lay down. They fed us Teriyaki Chicken and rice for dinner, and a cold zucchini sandwich (?) for breakfast. Overall Lufthansa is extraordinary German. The escalators in the Munich airport are very tall. I just met 3 other girls who are attending my program. My timing in the airport was quite tight, and I wish I had time to fill up my water and wash my face, but the important thing is that I’m on my flight.
